Good Spots on Marina Bay

Last Sunday, I went to Marina Bay areas with one of my friend to fill our spare times. Besides, we are also wanna explore new areas that we've never gone before.



First stop: Gardens by the Bay

Just as I arrived there, my eyes are locked into huge fascinating tower with plants as it decoration (as you can see on the picture above). I think this is really cool design where we can say it rare to have garden or plant themed towers. The towers are look like trees, with purple branches on the top and surrounded by plants by their bodies. Besides, they have bridges to connect one tower to another. If you try to walk on the bridge, you will see a very beautiful scenery of almost the whole gardens there. Cool right?

Second Stop: Marina Barrage 

I keep on walking with my friend, until we found Satay by the Bay and also Marina Barrage. Actually I don't really know what that place for, but I am quite interested about roof. The picture that I take is only half of its building. People walk into its roof (as you can see a lot of people on the rooftop) and enjoying the scenery or get an fresh air. Its really relaxing and calming while I stand on the rooftop. The air from up there is different from the one that used to be in town. The air is fresh, and also feel clean. Besides, I kind of feel so close to the sky, and the clouds look clearer up there.

Third Stop: Merlion Park

I continued my journey exploring Marina Bay area, and I went through Marina Bay Sands famous hotel. Then I kept on walking until I reached Merlion Park (so far haha). I could see Marina Bay Sands hotel from there. 

Finally I could see the whole building structure from near. Usually I could only see that on the internet LOL. I've been admiring the design from a long time ago. A unique concept with a boat-like roof on its top, and curves on its body structure, is what make the hotel become so famous and also an icon of Marina Bay itself. I really like the idea of boat-like roof of the hotel. But, the great thing about that building doesn't stop just like that.

About 8 or 9 pm, I decided to go back. Suddenly, numbers of lights and lasers caught my attention. Those came from the hotel building! The hotel emitted those lights and lasers continuously, about 15 minutes long. That thing also very creative as it's an interesting idea to put up lights or lasers on the building.

I think this is a really fascinating journey as I can see a lot of unique and creative design or buildings. Besides, I explore new things or area in Singapore, in order to know better Singapore.
